Each girl will be well prepared for life in the twenty-first century where
communication, assisted by technological and multilingual expertise, will play an increasingly important role.
More than 90% of our Sixth Formers go on to Higher Education, an
increasing number at Oxbridge.
Since the turn of the Century, 85 new Doctors and 138 new Medical
and Scientific Researchers owe their success in part to the excellent
secondary education they received at WGGS.
We can account for over 50 Maths and Engineering and over 70 Business Graduates and numbers in both continue to increase.
Degrees in Government and Politics have been awarded to 50 of our
former students.
50 girls went on from WGGS to study and graduate in Law.

- The first school in UK to be accredited by the University of Exeter as a Thinking School.
We foster the academic excellence and personal development of each pupil in a caring, stimulating and challenging environment so that she is able to achieve her full potential.
Over £15000 is raised for local, national and international charities by the girls and staff every
year.
100 girls are currently working towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award: 40 Bronze, 40 Silver, 20 Gold.
The Core Aim of Watford Grammar School for Girls is to be a centre of excellence
and achievement and to provide a wide spectrum of educational opportunities.
