We are seeking to expand our Site Department and are looking for a reliable and hardworking caretaker to work at a local primary school.
The school provides caretaking services to a number of local primary schools and the successful applicant must be willing to drive to undertake work as necessary at this site and on the other sites should this be required. Therefore, in addition to a positive and pro-active attitude, your own transport and a clean driving licence are essential.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all employees to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to pre-employment checks including a satisfactory enhanced Criminal Records with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Those working with children under the age of 8 will be required to make a declaration under the statutory guidance ‘Disqualification under the Childcare Act 2006’ and the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009, issued by the Department for Education (DfE).
