Gift Wrap Fundraiser

Each Autumn Term, the Northbrook Gift Wrap brochure is sent home to each family.

We all buy wrapping paper for Christmas and of course we need birthday wrapping paper all year round. Besides superb quality roll wrap, there are many other great value products in the brochure; check out the Birthday Cards at £3.00 for 20 (that is just 15p per card), and the gorgeous glitter gift bags just £3.00 for two. Remember that every £3.00 item you buy raises 66p for the school!

Very importantly Northbrook’s gift wrap has been sourced from European Sustainable Forests that have been accredited by either FSC or PEFC.

Our school will receive 22% cash back on every item sold.If we all bought just a couple of items we could raise a significant amount of money.

The form that gets the most orders placed before the October half-term
will receive a prize!

We do hope you like the selection of papers and that you and your family will support our school by purchasing through us.

Simply fill in the order form on the brochure and return it to the school office with your payment before the October half term holiday.

Your order will be delivered to the school for collection in November.

There will be a P&P charge on items ordered via the website, but this is partly off-set with a free gift.

Lady’s Close House

Having looked carefully at the capital development needs of the school and the level of funding currently available to us, we now intend to focus our energy on restoring Lady's Close House.

This is the most historic building on the school site and is central to every girl's development at WGGS. Lady's Close is the Y7 base, where pupils have their own space and Form Rooms. The girls have special affection for the building because it represents the start of their careers at WGGS. The grand old house is also the home of the English Department.

The building is well over 100 years old and is in dire need of modernisation and refurbishment. We have ambitious plans to recapture the splendour and elegance of its history, while incorporating the technology and physical improvements that will bring Lady's Close House into the 21st century in appropriate WGGS style.
