TEACHER OF MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGES

We are seeking to appoint a well qualified linguist able to teach German to A level and French/Spanish to GCSE.

MFL is a large, successful department dedicated to quality teaching and presenting a creative and challenging curriculum which includes at least one compulsory MFL to GCSE.

While this post is suitable for an NQT, successful candidates with the requisite experience may later be able to apply for a position of responsibility.

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic graduate to teach Religious Studies to A level. This outstanding Department received the Quality Mark Gold Award in 2014 and consists of specialist staff who teach throughout all Key Stages. Significant numbers of students choose to study to GCSE and A level, with many continuing to higher education.

While this post is suitable for an NQT, successful candidates with the requisite experience may also wish to apply later for the vacant Second in Department post.

Lifeguards at Fuller Life

There are openings in the Fuller Life Fitness Centre on a Casual basis to join the team as Lifeguards.

Rate of Pay is £6.50 per hour.

You must be aged 16 or over and hold a current NPLQ qualification*.

To ensure that the pool has sufficient Lifeguard cover at all times, interested applicants should be available for a minimum of 2 shifts per week based on the pool opening times of:
Monday to Thursday:7ppm - 10pm
Friday: 7pm - 9pm
Saturday and Sunday:11am-2pm

* The NPLQ is valid for 2 years from the date of issue and a further 20 hours of on-going training and competency assessment must be completed before a lifeguard can renew their qualification prior to the expiry of their existing award.

Evidence of your qualification and on-going training will be requested, should you be shortlisted for interview.

A well-qualified and creative teacher of Mathematics is required to join this extremely successful department. A large proportion of students choose to continue to study Mathematics into the Sixth Form, our excellent results are produced through inspired teaching ensuring the girls enjoy and understand the subject. The successful candidate should have a strong academic background, and must willing to teach up to A level, including Further Mathematics. This is a strong team and the candidate will be expected to play a full role within the Department.

The position would suit a newly qualified or an experienced teacher.

Therefore, in addition to a positive and pro-active attitude, your own transport and a clean driving licence are essential.

This group of schools is seeking to appoint well-qualified applicants to train as teachers through the School Direct (salaried and unsalaried) Programme for the academic year 2016-17.

Places are offered in a range of subjects but we particularly interested in:

Working in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire, the schools can offer a high quality and comprehensive training programme.
