Watford Grammar School for Girls is an academic, over-subscribed school. The school provides Site Department assistance to several primary and infant schools in the Watford area. Two short-term vacancies, one full-time and one part-time, have arisen to cover paternity leave and a temporary vacancy. It is anticipated that the contracts will be six months in length. Although generally based at a particular school, you may on occasion be required to work at other local WGGS sites or at the main school.
37 hour contract
Monday to Thursday - 7.15am to 11.00am break 2.15pm to 6.00pm
Friday - 7.15am to 11.00am break 2.45pm to 6.00pm
30 hour contract
Monday to Friday - 8.00am to 12.00am break 3.00pm to 5.00pm
The successful applicants will enjoy working with a wide range of people; be reliable, flexible and able to undertake varied duties around the school buildings and grounds, including opening and closing the building, repairs, cleaning and ensuring site security.

This group of schools is seeking to appoint well-qualified applicants to train as teachers through the School Direct (salaried and unsalaried) Programme for the academic year 2014-15.
Places are offered in the following subjects:
Modern Foreign Languages (French, German, Spanish)
Working in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire, the schools can offer a high quality and comprehensive training programme. All schools have a proven track record in providing a stimulating and supportive environment for teacher training. Successful applicants will spend most of the week in school, with some time at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield.
Applicants are required to have a good degree in a relevant subject to the one they wish to teach. For the salaried route, 3 year career experience is a requirement. All candidates should have some school experience.
