We understand the importance of working with local employers to support our careers provision, and we welcome any contact from employers who are able to help show and inform our pupils about the world of work and the range of careers available.

We currently work with employers in a number of ways, including work experience, careers fairs, and careers talks. For this academic year we are seeking employers to support the following events:

  • Careers Talks: assemblies, lunchtime or after school talks

    We invite inspirational speakers to discuss their careers with the pupils.

    Any date during term time.

    Assemblies: 8.50-9.00

    Lunchtime talks: 13.15-13.45

    After school: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 16.00-17.00, or Tuesdays 15.30 – 16.30

  • Talks to Year 7 form

    We invite employers in to speak to a form group about their career choices and what their job entails. Pupils are then encouraged to ask questions.

    Wednesday 25th March 15.00-15.35

  • Talks to Year 8 form

    We invite employers in to speak to a form group about their career choices and what their job entails. Pupils are then encouraged to ask questions.

    Wednesday 29th April  15.00-15.35

  • National Careers Week events

    We would like to show our pupils the wide range of careers available when studying different disciplines, so would welcome further support from employers willing to talk to pupils about the following industries:

    Healthcare fair, Veterinary Science, Art, Advertising/Media and Music

    Tuesday 3rd March. 16.00-19.00

    Monday 2nd March – Friday 6th March. 13.15-13.45

  • Year 12 mock interviews

    We invite employers in to conduct interviews with all of our Year 12 pupils.

    Friday 26th June (afternoon).
