Innovate by name and nature. Food choice, flexibility, quality and speed are at the heart of what they do. WGGS has worked with Innovate for over 10 years as they continue to provide healthy and nutritious meals to our students. Their parent catering company, Impact Foods, won Education Caterer of the year in 2023.

Innovate September Tariffs 2025
Innovate have three food service stations across the school. The canteen in the main building is the Food Factory which serves delicious hot food and snacks at break times and lunch times. We have the Stables on the north side of the school which is a convenient location for Year 7 and 8, and the Sixth Form have their own Cafe situated in the Tennet Centre.

Main Meals
Freshly cooked hot meals are served every day, including popular favourites such as roast dinners and pasta bakes. Each meal is served with vegetable sides and a dessert.
Grab & Go
Perfect for busy days – students can choose from wraps, salads, pasta pots and more. Everything is freshly made, easy to carry, and full of flavour.
StreetVibes – Made Your Way
StreetVibes brings a taste of the high street into the school restaurant, with bold flavours and a build-your-own style that puts students in charge. It’s all about choice, flavour and fun!
StreetVibes runs Tuesday to Thursday, with a different concept taking centre stage on alternating weeks. The idea stays simple every time.
With loads of combinations available each week, meals can be mixed and matched to suit every taste.
With Free School Meals, there’s plenty to enjoy:
- A hot main meal and dessert of the day, or
- A mix of StreetVibes and Chill Deal options
- Breakfast and breaktime items are also available within the FSM allowance, so you don’t miss out
