- The Women of Vision Trust is a registered charity (number 1069040) that was established to encourage donations from parents, alumnae and friends of the school to support the development of facilities and resources at Watford Grammar School for Girls.
With school funding facing ever greater challenges, donations to the Women of Vision Trust help to ensure that our pupils continue to benefit from an outstanding educational experience. Since its establishment in 1998, the Women of Vision Trust has raised significant funds to support a wide range of projects that otherwise would not have been possible.
These projects have included providing funding to build the original Sixth Form Study Centre; Hyde House Maths Building; the Fuller Life Fitness Centre; the regeneration of Lady’s Close (English Teaching Building); extend the school dining area, IT Networking and upgrades to heating, windows and other essential maintenance to the fabric of the school.
Most recently, the Women of Vision Trust has contributed to the construction of the Geodesic Dome for Science and the Tennet Centre, the new home for our ever-expanding Sixth Form.
