To manage numbers within the school we operate a ticketed system for you to arrive at a specific time.

There are two main entrances to the school both on Lady’s Close, yellow – main entrance and red – Hyde House entrance. Both entry points will give you the same tour of the school and the opportunity to meet current students and staff and hear from the Headteacher Miss Tai.
Each year 210 new Year 7s join us and we hope you believe this is the best place for your daughter to be educated.

We are currently exploring a managed device scheme for this intake. Please do not purchase a device for your daughter at this time. Parents of students who are offered a place at Watford Grammar School for Girls for September will be invited to an information evening for devices.
