Congratulations to Rakshika for her achievement which she writes below:
“I was fortunate to receive second place in the youth category (age 15-21) of the AKAM Dance Competition, entries were sent from all over the UK. This competition celebrated 75 years of India’s Independence. I had the opportunity of performing my first Kathak solo at the Indian Embassy for the prize-giving ceremony. It was hosted by the Sanskruti Centre for Cultural Excellence in association with Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in New Delhi.”
