Following a challenging start to the year, we are delighted to welcome pupils back on site as we enter the final term.

Traditionally, the summer term is filled with excitement and joy as we take full advantage of the British summer with various activities and trips. Despite the limitations due to COVID-19, spirits were high as the girls walked into school on Monday to kick start the final chapter of 2020/21.

It hasn’t been an easy year, but we are delighted to see our girls adapt so well to this challenging environment.

Founder’s Day celebrations will be different this year, to adhere to government guidelines. A video will be released to celebrate the founding of Watford Grammar School for Girls and remind us of the values that has guided WGGS to what it is today.

With summer examinations cancelled, our Year 11 and Year 13 girls will now undergo a six week assessment period to determine their final grades before moving forward to the next stage of their lives. Good luck girls!

We CAN do it, we WILL do it.
