“An inspirational and exciting trip to the Victoria and Albert museum with the Textiles GCSE & A level pupils took place on Wednesday 24th January.
The pupils arrived at the gallery by coach at 10.30am and had until 2.00pm (with a quick break for lunch) to explore the gallery, take photos, notes and sketches to include in their exam projects and inspire their progress.
Some of the students decided to pay a little extra on the day to see the Amazing DIVA exhibition celebrating the power and creativity of iconic performers and exploring the role of the DIVA in opera, stage, popular music and film.
A visit to the wonderful shop concluded the day and we headed back to school, tired but full of ideas.”
