These are troubled economic times for everyone and schools are no exception; we are so lucky at WGGS to have the Parents’ Association batting for us, helping us weather the financial storm. Without them we would not have our all weather pitch or indeed a beautiful refurbished library, an oasis of peace and literary serenity and we are extremely grateful.
Their next project is to bolster and extend our IT infrastructure, which is desperately needed to help us meet the challenges by COVID-19, self isolation and online learning; at the centre of this is the PA Christmas Raffle, with the chance to win some fantastic prizes which would make a welcome addition to anyone’s Christmas stocking; an Xbox Series X, a 32GB Space Grey iPad and an Amazon voucher to the value of £100.
Every student has been issued with a book of tickets so please do support the Watford Girl in your life in selling all her tickets and support the school in all that it does – good luck!
All ticket stubs should be returned to the office by December 7th and the draw is on December 16th.
