The Chemistry department of WGGS challenged pupils and staff to design a chemical element symbol from their homes during lockdown to devise a ‘remote learning periodic table’. They received hundreds of entries and created a colourful, alternative periodic table.
Mr Burns, Head of Chemistry, said, “The results were incredible and everyone was so creative with their ideas. Such was the popularity of the challenge that we were unable to include all of the entries in the final table, so we will use these additional images around school when we return.”
