Peer Education Project 2018

“We are pleased to announce that we shall be working with the Mental Health Foundation for the second year by participating in the Peer Education Project (PEP) once more.  To see a review of the project last year, please visit  the Huffington Post site by clinking this link.

The programme is made up of five mental health lessons delivered to all Year 7 students by Y12 peers. The lessons aim to introduce the idea of mental health and illness to young people. The lessons also give the pupils skills to keep well, improve their mental health and support their friends.  In addition to educating our own students, we shall be contributing to research that will be valuable to young people throughout the country.

Further information about the project is in a booklet which can be found here.
